It is crazy how on days you are supposed to run it can be hard to find the motivation. But, as soon as you have a day you aren’t supposed too, that is all you want to do!
I did have a small body weight circuit to do yesterday. It focused on quick lower body movements. After leg day this was nice. I needed to get my legs warmed up and moving. I could feel the tiredness of the prior few days while completing this but enjoyed it nonetheless.
I did eat not so great yesterday though. I really need to work on that a little more. I tend to not focus on it as much as I should sometimes. I neglected to have breakfast, and I had junk for dinner. Not the best day out there. I need to really be paying attention to what I am putting in so the more heavy my training becomes the more my body is ready to take it on.
Today I have Gratitude practice and some lifting to do (upper body). I love being able to work up a sweat and feel powerful. I don’t life much weight but I can still tell I am getting stronger by the day!
Oh my gosh, those first two sentences are SO true for me, too! I hope you get to a place where you feel better about your eating! It’s so much work, but you can do it!

Thanks, I hope so too but then again…all the food! 😉

Good for you! I’m trying to be more mindful so that I’m actually putting stuff in my body that could fuel a good run. It’s tough though when you’re an emotional eater and a teacher- bad combo!

I imagine! I just neglect to prep meals the night before. Last thing I want to do after cooking for my family, is make more food. lol

I’ve been trying to do my meal prep for lunches and breakfasts all on Sunday afternoon, though I have to admit it’s sometimes the last thing I want to do on my weekend!

Sunday is the only day my husband has off each week where I get to see him for more than an hour. It makes it sooo hard to meal prep!

Oh ya, I would go with family time instead of meal prep. Another blogger suggested I just make enough dinner to pack some up for lunch the next day…
